Fireworks 4th of July - Canton 2012

From the Belk parking lot off Riverstone Parkway near Hwy 575 in Canton, GA. 2012 Fireworks display and show near Publix and Home Depot. We were parked near the Regions Bank and Applebee's to watch the display with friends and family.

Week 2 - 52 Week Project

I had several to choose from this week but there was something about this old TV that jumped out at me. I always look for the old TV's in abandonments and exploring locations, toyed with replacing the screen on it but I will save for later.

Week 1 - 52 Week Project

So yes I did it again. Committed myself to another photography project, but hey 52 images isn't bad. Hopefully they will be "good" images and by the end of the year Great.
I like this image mostly because of the huge sun burst. Sun burst aren't easy and change with every lens I own. Basically from my understanding it has to do with the way the light bleeds around the blades or fins that make up the aperture.
I also chose this image because of the old house I had been shooting. I am kind of into the rural and urban locations right now and even though the opposite side of the house was much more picturesque it didn't have the sun. Couldn't avoid the power lines.

Christmas / Holiday Lights - ABG

Atlanta Botanical Gardens - 2011
I was very surprised and impressed with the light display at the gardens. There was an abundance of things to shoot and a nice setup. Just too many people, very crowded, got the best shots late between 9-10 pm.
